Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in good standing by the State of Texas or other Qualified Credentialed Counselor as recognized by the Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse or a designated Counselor Intern with a minimum of 2000 hours internship and 300hour completed
The Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor position counsels and aids individuals and families requiring assistance dealing with substance abuse problems, such as alcohol or drug abuse; interviews clients, reviews records, assessments, screenings, and confers with other professionals to evaluate condition of client. Counsels clients individually or in group sessions to assist client in overcoming alcohol and drug dependency. Performs skills trainings and role models for clients. This position will conduct substance abuse didactic and educational sessions for clients who are in need of such services.
