  • Shaza Moussa, M.D.

    Dr. Moussa grew up in Syria and attended medical school at the University of Aleppo. Shaza has been practicing medicine for 33 years.

    Shaza worked with refugees in Syria for over a decade. As a result of her training and experience, her heart is always leaning toward helping people in need and eradicating their ailments.

    In her free time Shaza enjoys cooking, embroidery, and knitting.

  • Darla Hess, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

    Darla obtained her Associate's degree in Nursing from Kilgore College and received her Master of Science in Nursing from West Coast University- Dallas in 2018. After graduating she found her way into behavioral health and there discovered her passion. She completed her post-masters psychiatric-mental health NP certification (PMHNP) from South Alabama-Mobile in 2021. She has worked in both hospitals and rehab nursing homes.

    When not working with patients, Darla enjoys spending time with her family and riding trails with ATVs.

  • SanTanna Tave, LPC

    Having worked in mental health for 13 years, SanTanna considers working with and supporting her clients a privilege and a joy. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree in 2008 from Southern Arkansas University and in 2012, she pursued a Masters of Science in Addiction Counseling, and in 2014 received a Masters of Science in Professional Counseling. Most recently she obtained Post Masters Certification in Marriage and Family Counseling. Her passion is helping people and she takes a collaborative approach when working with clients to help them meet their goals. Santanna has experience in working with both adults in children in Attention Deficit disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), behavior problems, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety addiction, and pre-marital counseling.

    Santanna enjoys traveling, reading, working out, and spending time with family and friends.

  • Sharon Peymon, LPC

    Sharon Peymon, LPC grew up in Texarkana and has served the East Texas community for more than 20 years.

    Sharon is a Certified Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Stephen F. Austin University and Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Southern Arkansas University.

    She specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, grief and direct support.

    Sharon knew from a young age she wanted to help others and became interested in psychology in high schooI.

    In her spare time, she enjoys reading, movies, cooking and spending time with family and especially her two granddaughters.

    Sharon encourages patients to work to change their lives from just existing to living, and although we can’t always choose our circumstances, our power lies how we choose to think and act regarding those events.

  • Dr. Khotwanaeya Mwamba, M.D.

    Dr. Khotwanaeya Mwamba was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She graduated from The University of Arizona Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Health Science in Physiology with a minor in Chemistry. She went on to obtain her Doctorate of Medicine from The University of Arizona College of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency training at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Virginia. She is a board certified pediatrician by the American Board of Pediatrics and the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. After completing her residency she worked in rural and underserved communities in Arizona.

    Dr. Mwamba has been practicing in Texas since 2018. Outside of medicine, Dr. Mwamba enjoys spending time with family, participating in youth sports and church activities and traveling. She looks forward to meeting you and your beautiful family and to partnering with parents for the healthcare needs of their children.

  • Josh Talley, DMD

    Dr. Josh Talley is a native of southwest Arkansas. In 2008 he received his B.S. degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, AR. He continued his education earning a M.A. degree in Biomedical Science from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. In 2015 Dr. Talley graduated with honors from Midwestern University, Downers Grove, IL with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Since joining Special Health Resources in 2015, he has taken great pride in improving the oral health of those in Northeast Texas and Southwest Arkansas.

    Dr. Talley has been married to his wife Ashley since 2009 and they have two children, Cooper and Abigayle. In his free time he enjoys hunting, golfing, being outdoors and spending time with family.

  • Tajan Hayter, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

    Ms. Tajan Hayter is a Nurse Practitioner serving clients at the Jacksonville Care Clinic. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. Ms. Hayter was inspired to enter the nursing field as a young child after visiting family members in the hospital and having the opportunity to watch nurses with their patients. Impressed with their kindness and compassion as they helped families work through difficult times, Ms. Hayter now finds fulfillment in providing excellent and compassionate service to all her patients.

  • Susan Falola, DDS

    Susan Falola, D.D.S. is a DFW native who is very excited to be serving the Tyler area and surrounding communities. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M University College of Dentistry, located in Dallas.

    Described by patients as being a warm, caring dentist who listens to their concerns, Dr. Falola is passionate about providing her patients excellent and gentle dental care with integrity. She believes that everyone should have access to great dental care and has spent countless hours volunteering while in dental school and after graduating. Her outreach includes providing dentistry at community clinics, bringing mobile dentistry to those who cannot travel to dental clinics and doing mission trips to Jamaica where she provided free dental care.

    When she’s not in office, Dr. Falola loves spending time with her husband, their 2-year-old son and little toy poodle. She is an avid music lover and plays guitar in her free time. She also loves traveling, basketball (Go Mavs!), indoor rock climbing, crafting and baking.
