Tammi Smith

Director of Nursing

Tammi Smith, RN, has been a dedicated member of Special Health Resources since 2008. Over the years, she has served in multiple roles, including Lead LVN, staff RN, clinic manager and supervisor of nursing services, before stepping into her current position as Director of Nursing.

Tammi holds an Associate degree in Applied Science and became a licensed Registered Nurse in 2012. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Nursing at the University of Texas at Tyler. Her extensive experience includes working with the Ryan White Program, substance abuse initiatives, mobile unit services, care management, patient remote monitoring programs, HRSA Ryan White consultant and other communicable infection programs, such as Hepatitis C.

Outside of work, Tammi enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
