Shaun’ta Whitehead-Ade, MHA, has dedicated her professional career to high-quality, efficient healthcare delivery and population health management. Her primary goal is to assure a more equitable healthcare experience for all demographics, with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) being her passion. Prior to joining Special Health Resources, Shaun’ta has over fifteen years of experience serving in various leadership capacities in both the non-profit and private healthcare sectors. She is an expert in strategic initiatives, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance; using these skills to drive service expansion in a patient-centered fiscally sound manner.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from Aurora University and a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from St. Francis University. She is a member of the Medical Group Management Association.
In her role as Chief Executive Officer at Special Health Resources for Texas, Shaun’ta oversees a comprehensive array of operational and administrative services while motivating staff to deliver measurable, accountable, cost-effective results that further the mission of the organization.
During her free time, Shaun’ta enjoys being with her family, traveling, and listening to music.
Kenneth M. Kosowicz, CPA, MBA, serves as Chief Financial Officer of Special Health Resources for Texas. He joined the organization in 2019, and has more than 25 years of senior leadership experience within various healthcare organizations. As CFO, Ken oversees all financial operations including corporate accounting, treasury management, revenue cycle, financial strategic planning, and analysis.
Ken began his career with Ernst & Young. Before joining Special Health Resources for Texas, he served in various leadership roles with a diversity of healthcare settings including Community Hospital, Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTAC), home health, residential rehabilitation, behavioral health, allied health, and school programs. He is a member of the State CPA society and AICPA.
Ken earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Conservation from the University of New Hampshire, and holds a Master’s of Business Administration in Finance from Southern New Hampshire University.
In his free time Ken enjoys outdoor activities and time with the family.
Broderick McGee, SHRM CP, PHR, was born and raised in Tyler and attended public schools in the Tyler Independent School District. Upon graduating from John Tyler High School, he received his Associate’s Degree from Tyler Junior College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Le Tourneau University, and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Columbia Southern University.
Broderick has over twenty years of Human Resources experience including the telecommunications, retail, manufacturing, and healthcare industries.
Broderick served as the founding President of the Rose City Chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and currently serves on the board of Meals on Wheels East Texas. He is also a graduate of Leadership Tyler Core Class 27, and currently serves on the Tyler City Council.
Broderick holds a Professional in Human Resource Certification (PHR) from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI), and a Certified Professional Certification (CP) from the Society for Human Resources Management.
Broderick’s hobbies include fishing, attending car shows in his 1957 Chevy Truck, traveling, and hanging out with his friends and family.
Lee Stephens is a native East Texan and a graduate of Pine Tree ISD. Before joining Special Health Resources in June of 2021, Lee served for 15 years in various technical and leadership roles in the Information Technology field with 10 of those years in Healthcare Information Technology.
His responsibilities as Chief Information Officer include setting objectives and strategies for the IT Department, establishing and directing IT-related projects and implementing technology that improves patient care.
Lee is a Microsoft Certified Professional ® and holds a CompTIA® Healthcare IT certification, as well as a Network Plus and A Plus certifications. He is also a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society.

Anita Scribner, MD, spent her childhood in Wills Point, Texas, aside from one year in northern Italy as a foreign exchange student. She attended the University of Texas and received a BA in Anthropology and a Masters in Public Health from University of Texas Health Science Center - Houston. Anita completed her Medical Degree at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and went to Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis for Internal Medicine residency, followed by University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center for her fellowship in Infectious Diseases.
Anita joined Diagnostic Clinic of Longview in 1999 and has served continuously as an infectious diseases consultant at both Longview Regional Medical Center and Good Shepherd. She holds board certifications in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. She has been a physician at Special Health Resources since 2002 and now serves as Chief Medical Officer.
Anita married Ray Scribner in 1987 and they have seven children. Her hobbies include traveling, hiking, and bicycling. She has been a volunteer with Diakonia Compassionate Ministries in Kisumu, Kenya since 2005.
Ernesto Guevara, BSN, RN, first joined Special Health Resources as a volunteer and, after six months, became a full-time Bilingual Case Manager in March of 2002. He has served as the Compliance & Performance Improvement Officer at SHR since September 2017. Throughout the years, Ernesto has held various positions at SHR, including AETC Site Coordinator, Project Data Manager, Staff RN, Clinic Manager, and Quality Assurance Quality Improvement Manager. He takes pride in working daily to improve the health and well-being of people in East Texas and Southwest Arkansas and being an avid advocate for HIV services for over 25 years. Ernesto has also published and presented in several National and Statewide conferences representing the organization. He is a current member of the Health Care Compliance Association.
Ernesto has an Associate’s Degree from Kilgore College in Applied Sciences and was granted a Registered Nurse License in 2014. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was the Student Speaker during the Nursing Pinning Ceremony. Ernesto is pursuing his Master’s of Science in Nursing from the same university, focusing on Nursing Administration. He is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, the Golden Key International Honour Society, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
In his free time, Ernesto enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering in the community. He has volunteered as an Interpreter/preparer for the IRS -VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program with the Greater Longview United Way, American Cancer Society “Relay for Life,” and the City of Longview National Volunteer Day.
Southern Region
Jeanette Geddie has been with Special Health Resources since 2015, and in healthcare for 22 years. Upon joining Special Health Resources in 2015, she helped establish and lead the first Pediatric practice within our organization. Jeanette then used that experience to work collaboratively with other key staff to establish our first Obstetrics and Gynecology practice in 2016. In 2020 she was instrumental in establishing the first drive-up Covid testing service in our organization, and one of the first in East Texas. Jeanette manages the southern region of the organization including clinics in Longview, Tyler, and Jacksonville, as well as mobile unit services in Daingerfield and Pewitt.
Jeanette is the Vice Chair for the Vaccine Awareness Coalition of East Texas, and is a member of the Steering Committee for the Greater Longview Optimal Wellness (GLOW). She also serves on the Medical Assisting Advisory Board for Panola College.
Jeanette earned her Health Care Economics Certification from Harvard Business, her Non-Profit Management Certification, and Human Resource Management Certification from Louisiana State University. She is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, NRCMA, and a Certified Medical Coder.
In her free time, Jeanette enjoys spending time with her family, visiting her son who serves our country in the United States Navy, going for runs, and playing with the family doodle, Hudson.
Northern Region
Jessica Roldan, MSBA, MLS(ASCP)CM, serves as the Director of Operations for the Northern region of Special Health Resources encompassing operations in Paris & Texarkana. She joined Special Health Resources in 2018 and has over 18 years of experience in healthcare and leadership roles.
Jessica earned a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Texarkana, and graduated from UCLA Anderson School of Management/Johnson & Johnson’s Health Care Executive Program. Jessica is a board-certified Medical Laboratory Scientist and holds a Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt Certification. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Central Arkansas Chapter of the Project Management Institute.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys reading, spending time with her family, supporting animal rescue organizations, and continuing her education.
Tiffany Bridges has been with Special Health Resources since 2008 and currently serves as the Director of Training and Development. Tiffany possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Vista College and a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Colorado Technical University. Tiffany is a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success and The National Association of Community Health Workers. Ms. Bridges is a Certified Crisis Prevention Intervention Trainer as well as a Community Health Worker Instructor. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and expanding her knowledge base on the world around her.

Theresa Jones has been with Special Health Resources for fifteen years, and currently serves as Program Director for the Ryan White Prevention/Outreach and Substance Abuse Programs. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from LeTourneau University. Ms. Jones is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and a member of the Northeast Texas Homeless Consortium. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, nature walks, motorcycle riding, and traveling.
Tammi Smith Kelly, RN, has worked with Special Health Resources since 2008. Prior to becoming Director of Nursing, Tammi previously served as Lead LVN, Staff RN, Clinic Manager, and Supervisor of Nursing Services.
Tammi has an Associate Degree in Applied Science and became a licensed Registered Nurse in 2012. She is currently working towards a master’s degree in nursing at the University of Texas at Tyler. She has worked extensively in the Ryan White Program and Substance Abuse program, and is committed to ensuring that the agency’s clinics provide the highest level of care.
In her spare time, Tammi enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Ashley Tompkins serves as Director of Communications and Public Relations of Special Health Resources for Texas. She joined the organization in 2023 with more than 17 years experience in marketing, media and public relations.
Before joining Special Health Resources, Ashley served as director of communications for the Galveston County Health District and Coastal Health & Wellness, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that serves Galveston County residents.
Ashley earned her Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.
