Amanda Holmes

Behavioral Health Director

Amanda Holmes, MD, is a Paris native and serves as Behavioral Health Director at Special Health Resources. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. She earned her MD in 1994 from Texas A&M College of Medicine, followed by a General Psychiatry degree in 1998 and a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry degree in 2000. Dr. Holmes has been licensed by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) since 1995, and has practiced medicine in the Waco and Temple area before moving back to Paris in 2009. She's married to her best friend, and they have one child together.
