2 years of experience in social services preferred

Must have reliable transportation

Bilingual Preferred (English-Spanish)

Mental and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position

Knowledge of HIV, STD, HCV, Tuberculosis, and/or substance abuse preferred

Must be willing to work a flex schedule that includes weekends and evenings

Must be willing to access clients in locations where at-risk individuals congregate

Must be willing to travel

Position will provide a wide range of prevention services for HIV positive individuals . Emphasis on prevention of risk behaviors associated with spread of HIV. Provides group and individual facilitation on risk reduction. Provide HIV testing and will promote available services for the client within the organization and will refer clients for services outside the agency. Will maintain a flexible schedule in order to facilitate client care.
