The Counselor position counsels and aids individuals and families requiring assistance dealing with substance use problems, such as alcohol or drug use; client interviews, record reviews, assessments, screenings, and confers with other professionals to evaluate condition of client. Counsels clients individually or in group sessions to assist in overcoming alcohol and drug use disorders. Performs skills trainings and acts as a role model for clients. This position will conduct substance use disorder didactic sessions for clients who are in need of such services. |
