- Must have a valid medical license to practice in Texas, be in good standing and experience working in a high-volume clinic environment.
- Graduate of a formal accredited medical school and certified to practice by Texas State Board of Licensure and Supervision
- Preferably Board certified in Psychiatry with a high level of competency in working with mental health issues, children and adolescents, families and diverse cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic settings
- Interest and/or experience in collaboration with interdisciplinary health teams

The psychiatrist is given extensive independent judgment in reviewing medical information and providing expert opinion with regard to the diagnosis and treatment of mental health patients. The psychiatrist will oversee the treatment plans and progress of patients, serve as consultant on specific cases and examine and treat patients whose condition may also require pharmacological intervention |
